Practice

PMDG Architects
PMDG Architects was founded in 1985 and is based in Sutton Coldfield in the UK. The Practice works nationally on a range of building types including commercial, residential and community projects, providing services in architecture, interior and product design, for public and private sector clients.

A philosophical approach based upon ‘uniqueness’ guides the practice rather than a dogged adherence to a particular stylistic mantra. This generates buildings which are individually created and detailed and thus perform better in respect of their form, function and context.

PMDG Architects has a proven expertise in cost effective design and project management, delivering projects of architectural quality for ‘best value’. Above all, co-founder and Lead Architect Roger Purvey is committed to personal involvement at every stage of a project through to completion, regardless of type or size, to ensure that client requirements are always satisfied.

Above all, co-founder and Lead Architect Roger Purvey is committed to personal involement at every stage of a project through to completion, regardless of type or size, to ensure that client requirements are always satisfied.

Design excellence will only be achieved by a fully inclusive and well managed design process. Continuous and thorough dialogue with all members of the design team, including client, consultants, contractors and end users, is therefore fundamental to a seamless synthesis of all the elements of the design process and to ensuring the best results.
